Dr. P. Venkat is currently serving as a professor at Vikas College of Pharmacy, Vissannapeta, NTR District, Andhra Pradesh. He completed his diploma in Pharmacy from Government Polytechnic College, Visakhapatnam, and earned his bachelor of Pharmacy degree from Bapatla College of Pharmacy, Bapatla. He obtained his Master of Pharmacy in Pharmaceutical Analysis and Quality Assurance from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH), Telangana, and was subsequently awarded a Ph.D. by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada (JNTUK).

With over 18 years of experience in pharmaceutical education, Dr. Venkat has made significant contributions to teaching, research, and academic development. He has authored and presented more than 30 research papers in reputed national and international journals, conferences, and symposiums. In addition, he has served as a co-chairperson for several national-level conferences. Under his guidance, around 50 M.Pharm students have successfully completed their academic and research work. He also holds three national and international patents, reflecting his commitment to innovation and research excellence.
